This series is close to my heart. It allowed me to capture a tedious time in our days with beauty and creativity. The images in this series were all taken in minimal light. It began over a year ago when my youngest daughter was still taking a nap. I needed a way to keep my older two quiet and contained in one safe place. So every afternoon while the baby slept, they went in their bedroom and had rest time. They usually squirmed all over their beds and snuggled their lovies but never actually fell asleep. However, there were a few rare occasions when rest time led to nap time. And you better believe I was ready to capture that as well.
